Bringing the festive month of Lange Juni to a close is Sompop (formerly Sommeltjespop), an amazing rock and pop festival in a field in De Waal.
Sitting or dancing on the grass, young and old are treated to fantastic live performances on three different stages. Famous artists and up-and-coming talents will be playing on the big stage, the Texel Main Stage. At the time of going to print, not all artists were confirmed. One definite, however, is PEER, the indie rock band from Middelburg who always put on a great show at festivals and are getting many great reviews. PEER is known from De Wereld Draait Door and was voted NPO 3FM KX Radio Talent. Sompop 2018 is an afternoon and evening packed with live shows. A festival in the true sense of the word, with fun dancing, relaxing and chilling.
