The activities at Kunstschuur Udjat will be organised by Klarina Combé, painter, dance teacher and vocal therapist. She has danced and acted in various theatre productions and has exhibited her work in the Netherlands and abroad. Klarina Combé teaches movement theatre at secondary schools and movement and visual arts workshops. She is involved in the Kunst in de Zorg project and is a guest teacher of art in addiction care centres.
During the month of Lange Juni, she will organise several workshops for young and old at Kunstschuur Udjat: Kids’ art hour (with a variety of materials and the theme is animals), Soapstone sculpting (with participants making their own sculptures) and Midsummer’s dance (welcoming in the summer through dance). ‘In my workshops and lessons, I try to encourage people as much as possible to create something from within. Not to copy, but to be inspired by an impulse. To let yourself be surprised by the result. That feeling of being capable of creating something, your way.’
